This page last updated June 12th 2008 These etches have been designed (and the models built) by a well respected and known Gauge O modeller who lives in Victoria, Australia. His work has graced the pages of many modelling magazines, including the Gauge O Guild Gazette.
Once we've established ourselves with this range we will then look to considering 4mm - and any other scale - that's a promise!
We offer a range of LNWR vehicles, some of which ran into LMS and BR days. We understand that the six-wheelers and 42ft stock survived into early LMS days but were soon gone. Most went by the early 1930s, whilst some of the bogie vehicles survived into BR days but were withdrawn by the early-mid 1950s. To date we offer are as follows:
30ft 1in 6 wheeler D-297 5 compartment 3rd (arc roof) D-359 3 compartment centre brake 3rd (2 variations of D-359) 42ft 8 wheeler; radial u/f D-292 all third (arc roof) D-106 lav / 1st / club saloon 45ft bogie D-381 full brake (arc roof) 50ft bogie D-326 brake 3rd (cove roof) 57ft bogie D-134 corridor composite (cove roof) D-208 corridor double brake composite D-264 corridor all 3rd We do have about 4 or 5 more vehicles in the pipe-line
Kit specification:
These kits are etches only kits and intended as an aid to scratch building. These etches are made as
complete as possible and are NOT sides and ends only. We will be able to quote for sides and ends only as per
our usual company policy.
However, the builder will have to source roof material and we can suggestion sources for various materials including
aluminium extrusions. The modeller will also have to source all castings and bogies, but there again we will
be able to assist where we can in recommending suitable suppliers; however on the latter with the demise
of 'Home of O Gauge' the net will have to be cast wider.
7mm Kit prices as follows:
