In 1905 the London Brighton and South coast Railway built a bogie refrigerated van which was allocated Diagram 28. It spent it's entire life, so it is said, on the tracks between Newhaven and London. The running number was 9013 and the van lasted until grouping. Awaiting interest from all the LBSCR fans out there!
The 7mm kit from Steam And Things comprises of 3 etched sheets and includes all castings for buffers, brake blocks, oil boxes and leaf springs. Decals are also included, as is brass rod, screws, nuts etc.
In 4mm there are 2 sheets, whereas screws, rod etc. need to be outsourced. Due to the very low market potential of this product, we have taken a few liberties with some of the castings, using masters from other kits. In essence, except for the transfers, and very comprehensive instructions you may consider this an etches only kit, with bonus castings!
