"GENERIC" ROCKING W-IRON
in
"OO" and "O" Scales

The rocking design is believed to be the most accurate of all the designs on the market - the concept that is! It is based upon a W-Iron that rocks in a cradle around a piece of screw studding (unlike other designs, so it is has been reported), that are based upon bent tabs or other systems. We believe Iain Rice once described this design, in Railmodel Digest, as the "Rolls Royce" of rocking W-irons.

We call our design "generic" though we have based it on a UK Clearing House design. It is etched in 0.5mm (20thou) brass in "O" and 0.3mm (12thou) in "OO". However, we can etch very easily in other thicknesses if requested. ALSO we are VERY EASILY able to produce other designs to specific railway outlines. All we will need is a detailed side drawing of the profile and a small confirmed order. The order quantity for a special is around 6 units (1 unit for a wagon) in "O" and 10 in "OO".

The "kit" includes a fret for a set of W-irons, 8BA studding and nuts and full illustrated instructions.
